			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;m repeating myself, but I must say again how nice the weather has been.  Next month is going to be crazy in Vienna as it co-hosts <a href="http://www.euro2008.uefa.com/">Euro 2008</a>.  So for now it&#8217;s a bit of the &#8220;calm before the storm&#8221;, so to speak.</p>
<p>Yesterday after work I enjoyed one of the many attractions along the Danube Canal, the &#8220;<a href="http://www.strandbarherrmann.at/">Strandbar Herrmann</a>&#8220;.  We had a power problem in the office, which made it all the more tempting to leave a bit early and cycle over to this popular &#8220;beach&#8221; bar.   I snapped a photo of the happy masses:</p>

<p>As it got dark, even more people were still showing up.  Good fun.  Nice to dig my feet into the sand.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We&#8217;ve had some fantastic weather over the last 10 days or so here in Vienna, Austria.  It&#8217;s been very clear and sunny, yet not too hot.  About a week ago I left the building at work (that&#8217;s in the 7th district), looked at the sky, and decided I needed to walk rather than jump on the U3 at Zieglergasse.  So I worked my way to the Ring and snapped a few photos with my mobile phone (Nokia N95 8GB).  Most of the photos really are not so great.  I like this one, though, taken in front of Parlament.<br />
